Aprille Soons Palmer is a multi-faceted nomadic artist, originally from rural Vermont.
"I paint, draw, design alpaca fibre dread extensions and wigs, print, sew, crochet, tattoo, and travel around the world on a perpetual quest for inspiration. Many of my works have a certain psychedelic feel to them, capturing different states of the ever-changing mind."

"With my art I’m always trying to tell a story and I think that’s why I gravitate towards painting old people. Their wrinkles, scars and blemishes reveal a lifetime of hopes, small victories and loss.
Given the eventual movement of the boot through subways and city streets, I strove for an illustrative feel to the work. I imagined the faces flexing and reacting to the different environments encountered."
Jeremy Asher Lynch, 2007.
